A volta do anticomunismo na vibe da guerra fria é uma investida autocrática

Em 10 de janeiro de 1963, no auge da guerra fria, o deputado Albert S. Herlong Jr., da Flórida, registrou no Congressional Record uma lista de 45 objetivos comunistas. A lista foi derivada do livro The Naked Communist. O livro foi publicado em 1958 pelo ex-agente do FBI e teórico político W. Cleon Skousen, mas reimpresso várias vezes. A mais recente foi uma impressão de 2014 através da Izzard Ink Publishing e vendeu mais de 1 milhão de cópias. Ou seja, enquanto imaginávamos que tudo isso era história, um interesse abstruso reflorescia no público americano.

Ser contra o comunismo não é a mesma coisa que ser anticomunista (sobretudo se na vibe da guerra fria). Democratas são contra o comunismo na medida em que a via socialista preconizada para se chegar ao comunismo é um estatismo (ou estadocentrismo) – e, como se sabe, todo estatismo é autocrático.

O estatismo é a chave. Os estadocentristas marxistas creem que a luta de classes é o motor da história, que a igualdade socioeconômica é pré-condição para a liberdade política, que democracia é a vontade (ou o governo) da maioria e em outros pressupostos semelhantes que, uma vez adotados, levam qualquer projeto político neles baseados a se afastarem da democracia, como vimos ocorrer em numerosas experiências históricas.

O anticomunismo, porém, é outra coisa. É a constituição de uma militância semelhante à militância comunista (com o sinal trocado). É guerra, pura e simples, ou seja, construção e manutenção de inimigos e falsificação da verdade.

Os 45 objetivos comunistas de Skousen, ainda que tenham, aqui e ali, detectado estratégias usadas pela esquerda autocrática em vários países, são um retrato perfeito do clima de guerra que vigorou na política americana nas décadas de 60 e 70 do século passado. O que espanta é que tudo isso tenha renascido – trinta anos depois da queda do muro de Berlim – com tanto vigor na segunda década do século 21, nos meios dos apoiadores daquela que viria a ser a candidatura Trump e, no Brasil, na chamada “nova direita” olavista e bolsonarista. E assim muitos jovens, sem experiência democrática e sem bagagem política, vão caindo no erro dos anticomunistas.

Qual o problema do anticomunismo? O problema é que o anticomunismo é, via de regra, autocrático. Quer substituir os supostos ou reais objetivos autocráticos dos comunistas por objetivos anticomunistas tão autocráticos quanto os primeiros (e, às vezes, até mais). Por isso que democratas – ou liberais no sentido político do termo – são contra o comunismo e contra o anticomunismo. Segue abaixo uma tradução resumida dos 45 objetivos comunistas de Cleon Skousen (1958), feita por Dionei Cleber Vieira (2014) e, em seguida a cada objetivo, a versão original com comentários do (ou publicados pelo) grupo religioso ultraconservador Brushfires of Freedom.

45 OBJETIVOS COMUNISTAS

1. Aceitação dos EUA de coexistência como a única alternativa para a guerra atômica.

President Ronald Reagan undid the doctrine when he took an aggressive stand against the Evil Empire by backing freedom fighters from around the world that were struggling against the left-wing communist jackboot. As a result, the Soviet Union and its satellites imploded, a considerable and unexpected setback to the international communist edifice.]

The same advocates now call for reducing American military might, claiming that there is something immoral about America preserving its military pre-eminence in the world.]

CONCLUSÃO

O texto é revelador. Ao fornecer uma lista de (supostos ou reais) objetivos comunistas, o autor revela, na verdade, um projeto político autocrático para a América. Basta ler ao contrário. Quem poderia imaginar que um projeto como este pudesse renascer na segunda década do século 21, e não apenas nos USA (via a base social de Trump e os estratos mais autoritários do Partido Republicano), mas em vários países (inclusive o Brasil)?

Um bom exercício de aprendizagem democrática é ler os objetivos acima tentando identificar os padrões autocráticos neles presentes (pelo avesso, ou seja, verificando o que cada um deles afirma ao negar, criticando o comunismo). Eis aí um bom desafio para grupos como o MBL (para os outros setores da chamada “nova direita”, como os olavistas e bolsonaristas, os monarquistas tradicionalistas e os intervencionistas militaristas é praticamente inútil tal recomendação: eles já optaram pela autocracia).

O fato é que, por mais tudo isso tenha nos pegado meio de surpresa, a volta do anticomunismo na vibe da guerra fria é uma investida autocrática real e presente nos dias que correm, inclusive no Brasil.
